It was a real challenge to open on time, with all the obstacles we faced, but it was so worth it. Between tight deadlines, service providers to manage, decorating for example, which we loved doing and which is a mix of vintage, new, traditional… We were more than busy, but we managed to create something beautiful for you, and that’s all that matters.

We wanted a place that was both traditional and modern, with vintage touches but also artistic touches. The place is constantly evolving with the guests who come, who are inspired by the place, who bring it to life with us, who leave a little something artistic or otherwise, a drawing, a painting, a song, a poem or something else. Whatever your talent, you can express it here and share it with others. Here, we are enriched by encounters, by others, by art, we inspire each other, we help each other and we live as a community. These first few weeks are filled with wonderful encounters, exchanges, evenings of laughter, shared meals, dancing, music and games. Incredible outings to the sand dunes of Timlaline, sunsets in Tililt, events and workshops to unleash your creativity, traditional dinners on the terrace or lunches in the village to discover the local culture and treat yourself, as well as incredible surfing or yoga lessons where you learn in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Why Shaka Ashore?
The name comes from the world of surfing, from the mythical Shaka hand symbol that brings people together and that everyone knows. Ashore refers to the connection to the sea and the coast, which is present everywhere in Imsouane. This is very important to us and we wanted to share it with you. Here, the sea plays a central role; we live to the rhythm of the tides, the ocean and nature. Here, we slow down, we really take our time, we breathe, we disconnect and we reconnect with what really matters.

The local surfing culture, yoga, the laid-back lifestyle, the mix of traditional Amazigh cultures and the modernity brought by surfing make Imsouane and our establishment a unique spot in the world.
